The Lionclaw LC50B CNC machine is intended to be used for cutting and engraving materials such as wood, plastic, and non-ferrous metals.  The machine is inexpensive, easy to construct, easy to operate, and can be modified to suit the needs of the user.

The machine offers a table size of 60" x 26" and a cutting area of 50" x 26".  A variety of rotary tools, trim routers, and full size routers can be mounted for use on the machine.

The Lionclaw LC-50 CNC kit is shipped completely unassembled. This kit includes all wooden parts required to build the machine with exception of the table skins. Also included are HDPE bearing mounts, motor mounts for NEMA 23 steppers, and aluminum motor spacers.  Each part is labeled to assist with identification.  Bearings, rails, router, and other hardware can be purchased online and at your local hardware store.  You will also need to purchase a motor and controller kit.  I personally recommend the HobbyCNC controller kits.  Other items required to complete this machine, including a set of aluminum bearing mounts, motor couplers (3), ACME clamps (3), and lead nuts (3), are also available for purchase here in our web store, or they can be fabricated in your shop or purchased elsewhere online.
